The photo cuts for the Jiangdong trio are finally ready. This line-up with my eldest brother Sun Ce (@Seguiaaaa) and second brother Sun Quan (@Boson), forming the three siblings of Jiangdong, is a cosplay photoshoot I've poured the most energy into recently. Regarding the restoration of character settings, all three of us exerted immense effort, especially for prop preparation.

Let's talk about my gear first. Sun Shangxiang's massive golden cannon was absolute manual labor. To capture the metallic texture of that heavy-firepower divine weapon in the photos, the prop team applied a lot of specialized paints and foil-gilding techniques. To cooperate with various standing and crouching postures during the shoot, I had to repeatedly adjust my center of gravity. Since the cannon body contains mechanical structural details, the edges are incredibly hard; when shouldering it to execute various poses, I not only had to maintain a sharp facial expression but also try my best to make my body's physical exertion look effortless. This process was actually a massive test of muscle control.

Costume-wise, this yellow-and-black short combat uniform paired with over-knee boots is visually striking, but it demands incredibly high body proportions. To align with the character's combat attributes, I emphasized the eye contours and facial highlights in my makeup, attempting to combine the untamed wildness and agility of the "Little Conqueror of Jiangdong." Meanwhile, the props for big brother Sun Quan Cosplay and second brother Sun Ce cosplay in the frame were equally substantial. Sun Ce's massive anchor with heavy iron chains and Sun Quan's longbow were crafted from real, solid materials. When we swapped props to play around with them during shooting breaks, we often looked at each other and laughed, marveling that the physical weight of this "the three siblings of Jiangdong" set was ridiculously hardcore.

This shoot was divided into two environments. One set was an outdoor scene with ancient water-town charm, where authentic sailboats and wooden archways in the background, paired with the reflective water surface, clashed with our costume elements to spark an intense Chinese-style fantasy feel; the other set was inside a modern industrial-style exhibition hall. Large expanses of glass curtain walls and cool-toned metallic pillars made our heavy weapons look immensely oppressive. In the empty indoor venue, shots taken with low-angle wide-angle lenses felt incredibly dynamic, instantly blowing open our full aura.

Special thanks go to photographer @4399mini-games, who successfully captured our staggered positioning and highly oppressive demeanors in the complex lighting environment of the exhibition hall, leveraging the reflective floors and natural light-shadow contrasts. At the same time, a huge thank you to my two brothers for their cooperation. The main difficulty of a trio cosplay often lies in synergy; we frequently had to find our own lens angles simultaneously within an extremely tight composition. Everyone adjusted shoulder heights and weapon directions together, which ultimately presented a scene so harmonious and bursting with power in the final cuts.

Running around outside all day in this heavy gear, compounded by the weight of the props, was an incredible drain on physical energy. However, seeing that pure combat aura and the screen full of Jiangdong pride in the final cuts makes all the hardships feel thoroughly worth it. This work carries our respect for the character settings, and we hope to show everyone the most authentic version of the siblings of Jiangdong in our eyes.
