[Theresa Cosplay] Snow Mountain Reunion in a Parallel Universe - Image 2

This time, I'm sharing a finished photoshoot of Theresa Cosplay from Arknights. The shooting location was chosen in a golden grassland woodland. Although different from the original lore's snow mountain setting in Descent of the Snow Mountain, the somewhat desolate and tranquil atmosphere perfectly harmonized with the theme of "dwelling in the past."

In terms of hair and makeup, the crimson horns, white hair, and red eyes were the main focus. To faithfully recreate their texture, I spent considerable effort on the eyeshadow and contouring to give my facial features a cooler, more aloof look. The costume consisted of a black-and-white long dress combined with a black leather top; the skirt is quite long and easily caught on grass while walking through the fields, so every movement required extra caution. Although it might not be immediately obvious in the pictures, I wore black stockings and boots on the lower half—shooting in the wild during this Grassland photography session left my legs with quite a few mosquito bites for this Stockings cosplay.

The lighting on the day of the shoot was wonderful, relying predominantly on natural light. To make the subject stand out, the photographer utilized a wider aperture to blur the background into a soft bokeh. Hoping to present the character in a state of waiting or reminiscing, we prepared a bouquet of white faux flowers as a prop. Looking back toward the camera across that meadow, I imagined myself as Theresa hailing from the snow mountain, quietly waiting in this parallel world for the day of reunion.

I also really love the color grading of the final images. Post-processing didn't rely on overly exaggerated filters, mainly pulling down the highlights slightly and enhancing the golden tones of the grassland and the deep greens of the trees, restoring a slightly vintage yet clear and luminous texture. The entire outfit was somewhat cumbersome to put on and take off, and the leather material on the sleeves was quite heavy, but it was all worth it for the final result. Although shooting in the wild was physically demanding—with strong winds blowing and the skirt getting flipped multiple times—capturing satisfying moments brought immense joy.

Being able to document such a Theresa through the lens was a truly special experience. Without excessive embellishments, simply standing there quietly while thoughts drift into the distance. I hope everyone enjoys this photo set brimming with nostalgia and memory.
