[Blue Archive pool cosplay] Demon upperclassman's refreshing summer swimsuit look

This outdoor location shoot was chosen at an open-air outdoor pool, with very abundant sunlight, making the lighting conditions ideal for photography. To fit the setting of the Demon upperclassman from Blue Archive, I put a lot of thought into makeup and styling. The wig was chosen as pure white long straight hair with slightly curled hair ends, and a small side ponytail was tied with a red hair tie on the side to add a bit of liveliness. The focus of the makeup is on the eye makeup, with purple circle lenses paired with a long red mark at the outer corner of the eyes, which can both highlight the fantasy feel of 2D and retain a touch of cool temperament.

In terms of clothing, a navy blue one-piece swimsuit was chosen, which is what everyone commonly refers to as a school swimsuit. This style is very classic and fits closely on the body. A name tag printed with the Japanese hiragana "ひな" was pasted on the chest, and it was paired with a red lanyard and a red whistle, giving it more of an academy atmosphere. The most time-consuming part was the head props; the black demon horns on both sides of the head required special coating, and the purplish-black texture would have a faint reflection under the light. That floating mechanical flyer headpiece on top of the head was made using wire and lightweight materials. To make it stand steadily on the head, I pinned four or five hair clips in the wig and had to adjust it from time to time during the shoot to prevent it from tilting.

To match the pool scene, I prepared a transparent swim ring and a red-and-white Japanese-style bucket with the character "風" printed on the body. Holding it while standing by the pool gives a strong feeling of a summer festival. Stepping barefoot on the stone bricks during the shoot, the floor was actually a bit hot from the sun, but for the sake of the picture effect, I persisted. Sitting sideways by the edge of the pool, I would gently shield my eyes from the sun with my hand and look back at the camera. This action can well stretch the neck and back lines, while cooperating with the crossed-leg posture, making the overall composition look slender. When sitting by the pool with feet hanging down naturally, you need to pay attention to body balance, and slightly straightening the toes will make the leg lines look smoother.

In expression management, I tried to maintain a demeanor with a sense of distance but not overly indifferent, occasionally looking at the water surface or the side of the camera, which can capture a more natural state. There were actually some tourists passing by on-site that day, and maintaining focus in front of the lens requires a bit of psychological construction. I would communicate the angles with the photographer in advance to minimize distractions. The white wig easily looks messy under strong outdoor light, so I kept combing out tangled spots during shooting breaks. Overall, from the wearing of props to the adjustment of poses, every detail was to better present the character setting. The pool shoot experience this time was very good, and the reflection on the water surface also played a natural fill light role, hoping to present a satisfying visual effect to everyone.
