[Vivian cosplay] The Zenless Zone Zero Elf in Front of the Retro Piano

This time I am sharing the official photos of the Zenless Zone Zero Vivian cosplay, and my shooting partner is instructor Ami. At the first sight of this retro piano and Roman column scene, I felt it would be a huge pity not to shoot this set; the overall warm light atmosphere carries a strong sense of storytelling.

For the outfit, I chose this black-and-white color-blocked classical style top paired with an open-back design. The cuffs are styled into wide bell sleeves with dark buttons, and the dark blue and black bowtie at the neckline maximizes the sense of layering. To stay close to the character setting, the lower body was specially matched with black stockings and platform lace-up shoes. The platform shoes not only visually elongate the proportions but, when paired with black stockings, also retain Vivian's elegant, comfortable, yet slightly mysterious traits.

Quite some effort was put into the makeup and wig as well. The light purple-and-white gradient hair color is paired with dark blue hair ornaments, and putting on the pointed elf ears instantly brings out the essence of this Elf ears cosplay. The eye color was specially adjusted to a transparent red, while the eye makeup wasn't done too heavily, keeping the base makeup clear and clean. The lip color selected is low-saturation, preventing it from stealing the visual focus of the red eyes, making the overall makeup texture look sharp and clean.

The light and shadow really added points during the shoot. The photographer skillfully utilized that ray of obliquely slanting warm light to hit my face and the piano cover, which, coordinating with the Roman columns and dried flower props in the frame, gave off a lazy afternoon yet castle-fantasy vibe. I tried several different sitting poses; the actions in the photos, like fingers lightly brushing my lower jaw or resting on the piano keys, were actually very relaxed, aiming precisely to convey the character's natural integration into the environment instead of forced posing.

Although the prop piano cannot actually be played, sitting in front of it with wrists lightly resting on the keyboard yields a highly wonderful sensation, as if I have truly placed myself within that tranquil scene. Instructor Ami's snapshot angles were also extremely fastidious; the upward or eye-level camera positions all took excellent care of the costume structure and the extension of the legs. Before shooting, quite some time was spent arranging the folds of the costume and the frizz of the wig, all so the clothes could maintain a crisp firmness when producing photos, allowing the layers of the skirt hem to drape naturally.

The texture of the final photos that came out makes me highly satisfied. The warm tones of this Retro scene cosplay restore the character's elegant temperament just right. Every time I put my heart into reconstructing such a character, and then adapting to the scene and lighting, it represents the exact fun of playing Japanese cosplay for me. Immensely thankful for instructor Ami's hard work behind the lens, and thank you to the team for the companionship; this was a very pleasant creation.
