This time, Remilia cosplay from Touhou Project was shot in a retro bar scene. To fit the atmosphere of the song "Septette for the Dead Princess", we put a lot of thought into props and lighting. The color tone of this photo set is mainly red, black, and pink, and the overall style leans towards European classical and dark fairy tales.

Let's talk about the wearing experience of this outfit first. The skirt is a multi-layered design of pink and white, with lots of lace and ruffles. The red bow at the waist and the gemstone brooch at the collar serve as the visual center. The wig is a gradient from light blue to purplish red, which needs to be combed frequently when taking photos, otherwise it easily gets tangled with the huge red bow on the hat. The small black bat wings on the back are fixed to the shoulders and back through straps. Because of their small size, you need to be slightly careful when bending over or sitting down usually to avoid collisions. The feet are matched with white lace-trimmed stockings and red glossy small leather shoes, which feels quite nice when walking on the carpeted floor.

Regarding action design, since the post mentioned Remilia action references, I will share a bit. Remilia is set as a somewhat tsundere young lady with a bit of aristocratic temperament. Therefore, in front of the lens, I tried to keep my gaze a bit lazy and calm, not looking too lively. When holding the wine glass, the wrist should be relaxed and the chin slightly raised, which can capture that unconquerable feeling. When picking up the red trident, the center of gravity should be stable, and a side-facing posture can showcase the length of the weapon and the layering of the skirt. Sitting on the red leather sofa when tired from shooting, or sitting directly on the carpet, brings a casual contrast. There are also some scenes in the photos holding playing cards with an old-fashioned telephone and a red wine bottle in the background; these small props add a sense of story to the frame.

Shooting this set of photos paid more attention to the application of light and shadow. The bar lighting overall leans warm-yellow and dark, which just highlights the contrast between pink and red on the clothes. To avoid overly dark facial features, the photographer added soft light to the front, making the facial contours clearer. The wine bottles on the background wine cabinet formed some reflective points after being blurred, increasing the depth of the frame. Here I also remind friends who want to try similar styles that when shooting in such dark-toned environments, the texture of the clothes must rely on lighting to be presented, especially the satin material and lace edges. Being able to shoot the effect of "Bad Apple fragment +1" this time, I am quite satisfied overall, which can be considered reaching the imagination in my heart for this character under the specific track atmosphere. The composition of each photo is also distinguished, with large-scene half-body shots and full-body shots showing costume details, making it convenient for everyone to refer to from all angles.
