Once I put on this Onozuka Komachi cosplay outfit, I felt like the whole person became lazy yet mysterious. The layers of the clothing are very rich, with a dark blue inner piece plus a white lace outer cover. The wave pleats and hollow-out lace on the skirt hem and cuffs span several layers. To ensure the fluffiness of the skirt, I wore a very thick petticoat underneath. The wig chosen is a bright red with very high color saturation, trimmed with neat bangs in the front and tied into twintails in the back, which is highly recognizable when matched with the overall styling.

A lot of thought went into the backdrop for shooting this set of photos. Inside the studio, a large number of red spider lilies and dead branches were used to echo the character's setting, matching the gloomy red lighting to create an overall mysterious and slightly oppressive atmosphere. The white tulle and wooden lanterns hanging in the background, along with the skeleton prop on the ground, make the layering of the frame even richer. Especially the warm yellow light shining through the lanterns formed a strong visual contrast in the cool-toned and dark red environment.

Regarding props, that giant Grim Reaper cosplay scythe is definitely the most eye-catching part. The handle of the scythe is very long, the blade is huge, and it has a certain weight when held in hand. To ensure that I don't shake when striking poses, core strength is needed for control. The skull prop held in the photo has a very realistic texture, and holding it in hand actually feels a bit wondrous. When shooting the first sitting pose, because the skirt hem was too big, it took quite a long time to arrange the pose just to spread out the folds of the skirt. At the same time, I had to pay attention to the body posture so as not to appear too stiff, conveying Komachi's temperament of usually being casual yet actually very capable.

When shooting Figure 2 and Figure 3, the actions mainly involved coordinating with the scythe and skull. For the half-body close-up in Figure 3, I deliberately adjusted the head angle to make the gaze look a bit more aloof. Because there are so many laces and ruffles on the costume, even a slight wrinkle would look messy, so during the shooting breaks, I would work with the support crew to straighten out every layer of lace on the skirt hem. The makeup part mainly emphasizes the depth of the eyes, using a reddish-toned eyeshadow and selecting a commanding lip color.

Actually, cosplaying characters with such large skirts and long-handled weapons is quite a test of physical strength during studio shoots. Especially holding the scythe and standing to strike poses, your arms will get sore after a long time. But because the scene lighting and props were both fantastic, the entire shooting process went very smoothly. In the final photos, the red hair and the spider lilies in the background echo each other, and the color scheme of the picture is very unified. This combination of Gothic style and Touhou Project elements is truly unique in visual expression.
