Taking advantage of the good weather, I finally shot Marin Kitagawa with full school vibes. This casual combination of a JK uniform and a white scarf not only preserves the character's energetic and playful nature but is also very suitable for real-life shoots on outdoor street scenes and stone steps. For the wig this time, I specially trimmed the bangs and the curvature of the sideburns according to my face shape. For the makeup, I chose a more natural and pinkish color palette to highlight Marin's own cheerfulness and vitality, matching the color of the colored contact lenses to make the gaze look more spirited. The shoot was deliberately scheduled for the afternoon, when the light and shadow atmosphere of the setting sun was exceptionally beautiful. Natural light filtered through the leaves, casting down onto the road and treetops, adding a natural warm-toned filter to the entire set of frames. Holding small props like a pink leopard print phone case can effectively break the stiffness of posing, making the camera presence more natural. Whether sitting on the stone steps to rest or looking back to adjust the scarf, I tried my best to look as relaxed as possible. In terms of costume details, the tailoring of the blazer jacket, the striped texture of the pleated skirt, as well as the white slouch socks and black loafers on my feet, combine to keep the visual center of gravity very stable without appearing cluttered. I intentionally didn't tie the scarf too tightly, wishing to preserve that lazy school atmosphere. This time, taking the opportunity of the Guangzhou Anime Convention (specifically the Firefly ACG Expo) to scout locations nearby, I met quite a few fellow fans. The atmosphere on site was fantastic, making it very easy to get into the mood for great shots. I plan to take more sets of photos with different moods and actions in the future, hoping to continue restoring Marin's multifaceted nature—lively and open, yet with a touch of delicate personality. When doing cosplay, I usually pay great attention to matching the scene with the outfit, trying my best to let the 2D character naturally blend into the light and shadow of reality.
