The theme of this shoot is Moriya Suwako from Touhou Project, the deity commonly known as the one Sanae worships. Although her setting is a "deity in name only," when actually wearing this costume, I felt a special sense of vividness instead. The outfit has many details, especially the ruffles and lace paneling on the cuffs, along with the bonnet on the head and the red straps; just organizing the styling took quite a bit of time.

The photographer @齐柏林大祭司.jpg was incredibly stable with their control of light and shadow. We chose this real-scene location with shimenawa ropes and stone lanterns for our Shrine photography session, where the light filtering through the gaps hit the white lotus leaf prop, making the texture feel exceptionally right. The shoot was actually quite a test of posture, because the sleeves are wide and I had to hold the lotus leaf to maintain balance; any slight clumsiness in movement would make it look loose.

Personally, I love the semi-sitting perspective in the third picture best. My gaze falls right in front of the lens, bringing out that or slightly lazy yet somewhat detached feeling of a deity. The lotus leaf and the wood grain texture of the shrine pair together beautifully. Although the overall tone leans dark, the white-and-purple skirt conversely becomes the visual center.

This time, from the makeup to the wig, everything tried to restore the original design as much as possible, and even the way the red string was tied around the ears was tried several times. Working with the photographer was also very smooth; basically, we would shoot a few frames and adjust the composition immediately, making it highly efficient. I hope to convey the temperament of this deity attire, interwoven with Eastern classicality and fantasy, through this piece of Touhou cosplay and Deity cosplay.
