Today's set is a Wuthering Waves Hsin cosplay styling. From costume customization to the final photos, preparation took about half a month. First, the hair: the silver-White hair cosplay wig was given a textured, fluffy styling with wispy bangs to match the voluminous high ponytail in the back. The pair of fox ears atop the head is the soul of the look, anchored with a headband and embedded with internal wire to easily adjust their angle. The black gradient along the ear tips was applied with an airbrush; because of their dense fur volume, wearing them for long periods made my neck a bit sore.

For the makeup, to fit the vulpine concept, I chose high-pigment red contact lenses. The eye makeup made extensive use of blended red tones, with elongated, upturned wings at the outer corners and red swept across the lower lash line. The lips were painted a deep vintage red. The red tattoos on my chest and arms were hand-drawn with body paint in patterns resembling flames and vines, meticulously outlined with a fine-tip brush.

The outfit features a dominant black-and-red palette, accented by a sapphire gem and gold chains across the chest. Being a strapless design, multiple anti-slip silicone strips were lined on the inside. The detachable sleeves combine gold patterns on a red base with black ribbons and fluffy cuffs. The flowing red flare and white chiffon panels on the lower body drift elegantly, though they are prone to being ruffled by airflow. The massive white plush tail at the back is secured by a waist cincher, with a flexible inner wire allowing it to hold various curved silhouettes.

The shoot took place inside the convention hall under relatively dim lighting, where the photographer set up key and rim lights. The first photo is a dynamic action snapshot: I opened my arms with naturally curved fingers, letting the red fabric and tail sweep out as my body turned to create striking visual tension. The second shot is a glancing turn over the shoulder, focusing on the backline and strapless tailoring with dropped shoulders and a tucked chin. The third is a frontal close-up: with a hand placed over my chest and a direct gaze into the camera, it captured the chest tattoo and collarbones with crisp clarity.

The trickiest part throughout was managing the tail's balance. Due to its weight, wider movements caused it to sag, requiring subtle support from my hands or legs. Moreover, because of the bold eye makeup, I had to maintain intense facial tension rather than looking overly relaxed. In posing, I deliberately introduced delicate finger gestures—subtle curls and extensions—to heighten the character's enchanting, eerie aura while harmonizing with the cutouts to enrich the visual layering. Overall, this styling delivers high visual impact, with the red, black, and white contrast shining brilliantly in dim lighting. Translating the flowing fabric and primal fox wildness through postures and angles made for an exhilarating shoot, capturing these fleeting light-and-shadow moments on the convention floor.
