Putting on this red-and-black color-blocked outfit for Yanfei, my strongest impression was how visually dynamic this costume is. As a legal advisor in Liyue Harbor, this attire not only boasts a distinct personal style, but also integrates numerous details blending traditional Chinese aesthetics with fantasy elements. To match the character's sharp and confident traits, I specially wore green contact lenses and applied eye makeup that emphasized eye contours, striving to make my gaze appear focused and bright before the lens.

During the shoot, the headdress was certainly quite a challenge. The layered red-and-black fabric and tassel decorations on my head, adorned with metal rings and golden hanging ornaments, required constant angle adjustments to avoid blocking my face on camera. The white plush pom-poms and off-the-shoulder cut added a lively, girlish playfulness to her otherwise rigid legal persona—a contrast that truly suits this character.

For this shoot, I specially prepared this small pink prop book. Holding it in hand while striking specific poses instantly immersed me in the role of handling commercial disputes or civil mediations in Liyue. A great cosplay must not only replicate the costume, but also align expressions and gestures with the character's personality. Yanfei handles legal cases with both professionalism and effortless ease; therefore, when facing the camera, I needed to project a confident, composed professional aura while maintaining an approachable, friendly conversational demeanor.

The lighting on the day of the shoot happened to bring out the textures of both makeup and outfit wonderfully, especially the layered black fabric with subtle jacquard patterns across the chest and the subtle red accent on the white-collared neckline, which appeared exceptionally warm under the warm lighting. Although the weight of the headpiece and wig occasionally made movements a bit clumsy—requiring my teammate to help adjust the tassel lengths—this very process of trial and adjustment is the true joy of casual cosplay.

Straightening out this gear and standing before the backdrop of red walls and bamboo blinds, at that moment I truly felt like Yanfei—well-versed in Liyue law and always ready to resolve disputes for the people. Being able to deeply experience a character's charm in this manner is far more than mere imitation; it is a genuinely fascinating, immersive mind-and-body journey. The shoot was highly efficient that day, and the final results achieved the exact image of a shrewd, capable, yet playful legal advisor I had envisioned.
