This Ruan Mei styling finally met everyone at the CICF Expo. To accurately recreate this costume, no small amount of effort was spent on preliminary preparations. For the wig, I selected a gradient style from black to teal-green, with wavy curls styled at the ends. The updo atop my head and the flower-and-pearl hair accessories had their positions adjusted several times, all to better fit the character's temperament. For makeup, I specially wore teal-green contact lenses, paired with base makeup featuring blush and pink lip gloss, attempting to find a harmony of softness and cold detachment in facial contours through fine details.

In terms of the outfit, this design boasts rich layers. The white stand-up collar underneath features delicate white flower embroidery, accented at the neckline with a pink bow. The emerald-inlaid neck ornament on the chest serves as a visual focal point, with metal and pearl pendants below enhancing the overall draped aesthetic. The outer white bell sleeves connect to the top, trimmed with light blue and pink along the edges. The high-slit blue maxi skirt on the lower half has a very textured printed pattern on the hem. The fabric drapes wonderfully when walking, and white lace ties at the ankles paired with dark shoes brought the completion of the overall look to a very satisfying level.

At the convention site, indoor lighting hit my body, and the mirrored floor reflected the blue of the skirt. Because the overall styling didn't include stockings, directly exposing the leg lines instead made the visual feel lighter and more refreshing. Picture two shows a close-up selfie taken while resting in the car; I found that this makeup held up in great condition under natural light, and the blue of the gloves echoed the skirt nicely. At that time, people next to me were pointing at my shoulders discussing styling details, showing everyone's interest in this outfit. Many people on site recognized the character, and someone even called out the 'come eat Ruan rice' pun, which amused me and showed everyone's appreciation for the character.

Whether in tailoring or makeup harmony, this styling exceeded my expectations. The long preparation and trial makeup process became completely worthwhile at the expo. Ruan Mei possesses a unique calmness and charm, and I did my best to convey that composure throughout the portrayal. From makeup setting to on-site shooting, my condition remained great. Although the high-intensity walking at the convention was exhausting, looking at the Convention photos recorded on the camera and phone made it feel like a fantastic experience. Time to pack up and head home; I'll organize a new record when cosplaying other characters next time.
