[Eula cosplay] Testing Out Genshin Impact's Eula: This Vengeance, I Shall Remember It

Cutting straight to the point. From receiving this Eula cosplay costume to adjusting and fitting it on my body, the entire process took nearly half a month back and forth. The primary reason was that the greatsword prop was far heavier than expected; holding it up single-handedly while maintaining posture requires solid core strength, or else the blade tip easily strikes the floor. The fabric is a lustrous blue-black material, and the shorts are quite form-fitting; for ease of movement, I added anti-slip treatment along the inner thighs. The leg garter was originally a bit loose, so to keep it from sliding down while walking, I added hidden snap buttons for micro-adjustments. The leather of the Over-the-knee boots is quite rigid, necessitating thick socks underneath to avoid blistering ankles, and careful attention must be paid to the transition line between the boot shafts and thighs, as much of the allure in this styling comes from leg curvature.

The wig is a light-blue gradient, which took a long time to set with hairspray just to maintain its structured layering. During the shoot that day, I repeatedly adjusted my standing posture: holding the sword alongside my torso while showcasing the proportions of the waist and elongated legs was genuinely physically demanding. The makeup was relatively subtle, relying primarily on cool-toned contouring to chisel out 3D depth. As this was only an initial trial run, several costume details weren't entirely dialed in yet—such as the chest gemstone and the cape-fastening mechanism on the back—which I will refine for higher accuracy when time permits.

In truth, this outfit severely tests body silhouette and proportions. With minimal coverage, the combination of shorts, Over-the-knee boots, and thigh garters inherently delivers an intense visual impact. When shooting, the key is capturing an 'aloof' demeanor: the gaze must be razor-sharp without looking lifeless, and movements must remain controlled to avoid breaking the fluid lines. This leather-like form-fitting suit is not breathable, and the boots trap sweat; shooting for hours in high temperatures left distinct pressure marks on my legs and waist. However, seeing the haughty, cold aura captured in the finished shots made every bit of hard work worthwhile. Finally, discarding those outtakes where I burst into laughter, I preserved the serious, aloof perspectives for the official set—the core of this styling lies in expressing the unyielding, peerless pride of this 2D character.
