This photoshoot fully realized Yue Xiyin's Goddess styling from The Moonlit Oath.
The hair and accessories demanded the most preparation. The long pure-white wig had to be smoothed before padding the crown into a voluminous updo, which supported the hollowed silver diadem. Its cascading beaded tassels swayed with each movement, requiring extreme care to prevent snagging on the robes or the peacock's plumage. Beneath the icy-blue contact lenses, cool-toned eye shadow was accented with micro-glitter and delicate pearls beneath the lower lash line to evoke the fragile tears of a deity, paired with soft nude-pink lips.
The layered white gossamer gown paired silver-embroidered undergarments with voluminous translucent robes. Adjusting each pleat around the waistline ensured a clean, slimming drape, while wide flowing sleeves caught backlighting with breathtaking translucency.
The studio arrangement centered on a glowing lunar backdrop flanked by gnarled tree branches, dangling white blooms, and oversized floral paper craft. Reclining beside a live white peacock, resting a hand gently upon its feathers, required slow, patient movements and loose gazes. Carefully metering highlights to protect intricate lace textures resulted in a pristine Ancient style cosplay celebrating Mahamayuri.
