[La Pluma cosplay] Arknights: A Cute Attempt at Descent of the Snowy Mountain 1101

This time, I cosplayed La Pluma from Arknights in her Descent of the Snowy Mountain 1101 skin. I genuinely rarely shoot this kind of Cute little sister character, so I put a lot of thought into everything from styling to expressions, hoping the final look wouldn't feel OOC to fans of the character.

The wig is a grayish-blue bob with blunt bangs and a signature cowlick on top; recreating that detail took plenty of hair wax and styling spray. Eye makeup was the focal point: I selected gray-gold contact lenses, drew slightly winged eyeliner, and applied subtle warm eyeshadow on the lower lids to add softness, making the gaze much more vibrant when winking.

The outfit is a bright blue ruffled shirt with a white bow at the collar and abundant pleating across the shoulders and chest, looking exquisitely layered when worn. The white buttons paired with the black collar band combine ladylike elegance with uniform-inspired charm. Finding the right poses during shooting was quite a struggle; this cute style demands natural, playful gestures. After trying various head tilts and winking expressions, I finally chose a Cosplay selfie angle that neatly captured the full face along with the main costume details.

The fabric has a structured crispness that looks great on camera, though arm movement was slightly restricted while posing. To maintain that lively and adorable mood, I found a clean background wall, tilted my head slightly, and gently touched the top of my head with my hand. While the pose seems simple, getting the gaze and expression just right resulted in quite a few discarded shots.

Post-processing focused on preserving smooth, fine skin texture without exaggerated reshaping, primarily refining the brightness of the eyes and the blue saturation of the costume so the color looked purer and fit the refreshing snowy mountain mood. A warm-toned foundation was used during makeup so the grayish-blue wig wouldn't make the face look washed out, while a pale lip color with slightly upturned corners softened the overall expression.

Since I rarely play characters like this, I spent a lot of time practicing the movements and demeanor—keeping her quiet, well-behaved nature in mind during the shoot naturally softened my posture. I hope this attention to detail brings out a vivid and faithful La Pluma.
