Skipped the offline Arknights event on September 5th to work on this Outdoor shoot with my photographer. Sorting through the takes yielded two distinct color gradations; here are two frames I particularly liked. We set up primarily around a park bench, where dappled afternoon sunlight filtered through the leaves to cast gorgeous light dynamics. The mottled, dark foliage shadows harmonized wonderfully with the blue pleated skirt and dark jacket. This Amiya ensemble features ample detail: the black pantyhose and blue miniskirt form the core coordinate, and while the jacket sleeves run slightly thick, shooting during golden hour kept things comfortable. The footwear and jacket share a structured, semi-tactical build that aligns well with the silhouette; to lean into character fidelity, I wore soft blue contact lenses.
The session had its hurdles: the most frustrating element was the thigh strap, which slipped constantly out of place after every pose reset. After extensive fiddling, I simply removed it—feeling it left the look slightly incomplete, so apologies for being mildly out of character! Posing seated on the park bench hugging my knees felt attuned to her gentle affection toward the Doctor. The first medium close-up highlights subtle ocular nuances, while the wider shot in Photo 2 captures the environmental dialogue between the bench and scenery for a richer mood. I plan to reprise Amiya at IJOY during the National Day holiday with sturdier prop rigging, looking forward to taking photos with cosplayers at conventions and chatting through shooting tips. For this session, styling trials around layered eye makeup and wig volume aimed to balance cool reserve with tender softness. Missing the official gathering was a shame, but this Black stockings cosplay exterior offered valuable takeaways to refine my craft. Looking forward to meeting everyone as Amiya at the upcoming convention!
