[Noshiro cosplay] Azur Lane Festival Secret Realm, Serene Atmosphere Official Photo Set - Image 2

This official photo set features Noshiro from Azur Lane, specifically her "Festival Secret Realm" skin. Being able to shoot this set in a studio with a realistic setup was incredibly satisfying. I specially selected the Japanese screens and lattice doors in the scenery to create a serene festival night atmosphere. This costume contains an abundance of details; the modified kimono is paired with wide cuffs, and the color-blocking of deep red and navy blue looks very striking. The geometric pattern splicing on the chest and the waist corset ties were all carefully adjusted, and the pink floral decoration at the waist serves as a very eye-catching embellishment for the entire midsection. The red and white horns at the very top, the straight-banged long hair, and the metallic tassel ornaments on the side heavily test the wig styling during the recreation process. For the makeup, I specially chose a pair of purplish-red colored contacts and relatively intense eyeshadow to match the unique personality of Noshiro.

The lighting setup on the day of the shoot was highly sophisticated. Lanterns and warm-colored floor lamps formed an excellent side-backlighting effect, wrapping the entire washitsu (Japanese-style room) in a quiet and intimate atmosphere for this Japanese-style photoshoot. The first close-up shot captured the details of my face, and the texture of the light and shadow falling on the cheeks and costume was superb. The second shot brought in all the props, including the lattice door frame, oil-paper umbrella, sake flask, and flower vase, presenting a panoramic view of the festival secret realm. A shoot like this that requires blending the character into the environment heavily relies on light and scene matching. We adjusted the lamp positions on-site many times just to make the shadows on the screens and props look natural. The seiza (kneeling) posture actually drains a lot of leg strength, but to showcase the character's relaxed and lightweight poise, a little perseverance was entirely worth it. This Cosplay photography session was completed quietly indoors without complex outdoor environmental influences. I hoped the post-processing would preserve this authentic flavor, so I didn't add excessive edits, focusing instead on presenting the texture of the costume itself and the character's cool yet gentle expression. Personally, I feel the overall completion level is quite high. I hope when you scroll to this post, you can feel the cozy time akin to an autumn festival.
