When shooting this Futaba Sakura cosplay, the most critical aspect was the combination of the orange straight-bang wig and black-framed glasses—the signature Glasses and wig styling that serves as her most recognizable hallmark. To capture that authentic Casual cosplay feel, I specifically chose over-ear headphones in a red-and-black colorway, which were comfortable to wear and framed my face nicely. The outfit consisted of a black sleeveless T-shirt with pixel color-block prints; the fabric had a crisp drape that provided great tactile texture in close-ups. For the bottoms, I paired gray loose-fitting lounge pants; compared to tight-fitting garments, this style fit the character's relaxed yet quirky mood when hanging around her room, allowing for free and uninhibited poses during the shoot. Great care went into prop preparation as well: that large white fork was specially custom-made by a friend using lightweight materials to look great on camera without feeling heavy in hand. The orange was used to boost color saturation in the frame; the orange citrus fruit resonated perfectly with the orange hair, keeping the visuals from feeling monotonous.

The shooting process was quite a test of patience. To prevent reflections on the glasses, lighting positions were adjusted multiple times, and we experimented with various low-angle and high-angle perspectives. For the first close-up portrait, I paid particular attention to my gaze, capturing that focused yet effortlessly confident moment, which, accented by an ellipsis speech bubble sticker added in post-production, brought out an unmistakable atmosphere. The second full-body shot required balancing facial expressions and physical gestures while holding the oversized fork and orange, also testing the overall proportions of the frame. The backdrop was chosen in a room featuring white wooden cabinets and sheer curtains, allowing us to capture a lived-in, everyday setting without distracting from the character styling.

Regarding character interpretation and Roleplay, I believe maintaining a relaxed, seemingly casual posture while keeping details meticulously refined is essential. For instance, although the hair is long, it must be smoothed down sleekly so the bangs don't obstruct the eyes; the glasses must sit in the exact right position; the folds of the clothing should fall naturally without feeling forced. In post-processing, I brightened my skin tone to look fair and translucent, while maintaining high saturation for the orange hair and red headphones. From styling coordination to shooting, extensive thought was dedicated to refining every detail to faithfully recreate that casual atmosphere brimming with mysterious charm and hacker expertise—a finished result I am truly fond of.
