For this Arknights Suzuran coordinate, the element that demanded the most prep work was undoubtedly the multi-tailed animal ears setup. While the plush props and tails offered fantastic fluffiness, they were easily ruffled by outdoor breezes. To maintain the sweeping curves of each individual tail, I spent every shooting break constantly brushing them out, and the animal-ear headpieces required dozens of bobby pins secured into the wig to prevent them from sliding off whenever I moved. The wig itself was a blonde, finely layered short cut with delicately thinned edges; paired with a white headband, it caught gorgeous translucent rim lighting under backlighting, though styling it took considerable time.

For the wardrobe, I chose a white off-the-shoulder camisole dress finished with ruffled lace hem details; to prevent unwanted transparency under bright sun, the inner linings and undergarments were calibrated extensively. The green criss-cross lace-up sandals easily sank into the soft lawn soil, yet their color dialogue with the hydrangeas looked marvelous in-camera. The makeup centered on a sheer, dewy base, with green contact lenses enhancing the character's lively spirit and blush brushed softly beneath the lower lash lines and across the nose tip; maintaining this translucent radiance under intense outdoor sun required touch-ups far more frequently than usual.

The location was a nursery garden overgrown with hydrangeas and wild grasses, featuring a rustic wooden fence and swing. With intense sunlight that day, the photographer metered to preserve sky and blossom details by pulling down ambient exposure while providing dedicated fill light on my face, requiring me to face directly into the blinding sun with wide-open eyes for most angles. Though the brightness stung, the resulting dreamy, luminous flare perfectly captured the ethereal mood we envisioned. Weaving through the floral thickets meant insects and plant stems constantly brushed against my legs, and because the swing relied solely on hemp ropes, balancing carefully on it was physically demanding—the shoot was far more exhausting than it might appear.

Regarding props, the white bouquet in hand was composed of blooms at varying stages of blossoming, mixed with small wildflowers picked on-site that harmonized with the environment. The weight of the multiple tails was quite noticeable; to keep them from swatting surrounding petals as I paced, I had to keep my spine consciously erect, which naturally constrained the range of my movements. Still, seeing the plush, cloud-like fullness of the tails in the finished selects made every bit of early effort worthwhile.

The overall color palette leaned into soft, low-saturation pastels, where pink, white, and blue hydrangeas paired with emerald grass to create a deeply healing aesthetic. This spot truly lived up to the name of a lucky flower garden, with sunlight filtering through leaves and petals to cast organic dappled shadows across the lawn. To capture the sensation of strolling through an ocean of blossoms, we traversed paths and slopes repeatedly for dynamic angles, ensuring layered framing that highlighted nuances across costume and props alike. Though exhausting throughout, seeing how gracefully light, shadow, and subject coalesced made every captured moment feel thoroughly true to the atmosphere.
