Putting on the white over-the-knee socks requires technique; they must be smoothed out flat around the ankles, or unnatural creases will disrupt the texture. Prior to shooting, I deliberately studied athletic photographic composition, exploring how to channel the vitality of Sportswear while preserving her inherently calm, composed demeanor. Balancing on the ball requires control; pressing down too hard deforms the ball and breaks the visual line. Kneeling on the bench while lifting the hem to reveal the midriff required breath control to keep the abdomen flat, testing both physical core stamina and facial expression management. The volleyball served as a visual anchor connecting diagonal lines across the frame, which, paired with the storage lockers in the background, evoked an authentic campus sports atmosphere.

In terms of costume details, the athletic shorts are form-fitting, accentuating the waistline and demanding flexibility during posing. The white T-shirt features dark navy trim along the collar and cuffs; its lightweight fabric offers a wonderfully breathable look under lighting, though it creases easily and needed constant smoothing. During the shoot, the photographer guided my seated postures—such as extending one leg while pointing the toes slightly to elongate leg lines. Under specific angles paired with ambient light, the resulting visuals were immensely satisfying. These finished photos not only captured the athletic spirit, but faithfully preserved Misaki's calm and collected core. Every review reveals fresh details, and this continuous refinement is the most rewarding part of cosplay.
