[Hifumi Cosplay] Blue Archive's Summer Beach: Enjoying the Vacation with Sensei

This time, I finally shot Hifumi's swimsuit look. The location was chosen at this clean beach with few people, and the light was just right around 3 or 4 PM, not too blinding, and the seawater color was very translucent. This white ruffled swimsuit actually has many details; the off-the-shoulder design combined with black straps places high demands on the lines of the shoulders and back, so I did quite a lot of core training before the shoot to ensure that the fluctuations of the waist and abdomen naturally taper during standing and sitting postures. The wig is a specially customized light golden gradient, and the halo prop on top of the head was fixed with a lightweight transparent support, so that it wouldn't shake too noticeably when jumping or turning around, while maintaining the character's iconic elements. Pushing the sunglasses up to the top of the head was also a small detail referenced from the game's official character art. I tried that action in Figure 2 of holding the swim ring in front repeatedly several times, because it required keeping the ring parallel to the body while exposing the curve of the side waist and maintaining a relaxed facial expression at the same time, which was quite a test of bodily control. The jumping snapshot in Figure 4 was captured by the photographer using burst mode; the water spray from the water gun just happened to echo the blue of the sky. No excessive skin smoothing was applied in post-processing, preserving the natural skin tone and shadow transitions under the beach sunshine, making it look more realistic. Before shooting, we spread a white cloth on the beach, placing balloons and a straw hat as foreground embellishments, but to highlight the person, a blur treatment was applied in post-processing, focusing the vision on the interaction between the clothing and limbs during this Seaside photography session. The preparation work before getting into the water was actually very tedious—applying sunscreen to the skin, spraying styling mist on the wig, and repeatedly confirming if the halo was level, but once everything went smoothly to yield the final images, it felt exceptionally worth it. This white swimsuit has a faint pearlescent reflection under different lighting conditions, so during the shoot, I deliberately utilized the alternation of front-lighting and side-backlighting to make the layers of the ruffles more three-dimensional. Spending summer vacation with sensei, of course, means leaving behind the most refreshing frames.
