This time I challenged C.C. from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Green hair and golden eyes are her signature features, so I put a lot of effort into the wig and eye makeup to recreate that lazy and mysterious look during this green hair cosplay. For the witch costume, I chose a dark blue midriff-baring gown with gold trim, paired with matching independent sleeves and a neck ornament. The metal chains and gemstone embellishments in the details add more layers to the overall look. The shooting scene was set indoors with European classical sculptures and a white bench, surrounded by white dried flower clusters to create a cool and dreamlike atmosphere. The most interesting part is those floating geometric squares, which simulate C.C.'s manipulation of space or time through post-processing synthesis to enhance the geometric ice effect. Combined with her casual sitting posture and fingertip movements, it adds a touch of surrealism to the frame. To capture this close-up shot, I repeatedly adjusted the angle of my extended hand and the focus point of my gaze, aiming to appear nonchalant without losing the character's unique composure of seeing through everything. For lighting, we utilized the natural light angling in from outside the window, supplemented by a softbox for fill light, allowing the skin texture and the velvety fabric texture of the costume to be clearly presented. The overall style leans toward an ethereal and cool-toned vibe, hoping to convey C.C.'s unique charm. Detailed planning was done for this shoot, from makeup and styling to scene arrangement. Although the preparation process was a bit tedious, seeing the final photos brought a great sense of accomplishment.
