This set of the 2nd Anniversary Cheongsam from Arknights cosplay is one of my most satisfying recent works. Since I am currently enjoying my Study abroad life in Tokyo, I specifically selected a vintage European-style indoor studio. Utilizing dried flowers and a gold-framed mirror as the backdrop, paired with cool-toned studio lighting, it brought out the overarching black, white, and red color palette flawlessly. During the shoot, we focused primarily on capturing defined light-and-shadow contrasts to lend a richer, tactile texture to the sheer tulle fabrics on our outfits.

For my own styling, I paired a sleek black wig with black horned headpieces, a delicate choker around my neck, and a plush-trimmed shawl to add dimensional layering. The sister on the left sported a white-and-crimson twin-tail look, using a brighter red-and-black palette, with her pose holding the smartphone perfectly displaying her full ensemble. The sister in the middle opted for short dark-brown hair paired with elf ear props and dangling silver pendant earrings; she wore a sheer black high-neck tulle top—a fabric that is notoriously tricky to manage, requiring constant attention to prevent creases while shooting.

Our early makeup preparation was handled with meticulous precision. We unified our eye makeup with warm orange-red tones, striving to look organic under this vintage lighting while keeping our lip colors richly saturated. Doing Tokyo cosplay places huge emphasis on the overall atmosphere; we continually adjusted our standing positions to ensure none of the three sisters obscured one another, maintaining a harmonious visual balance.

Throughout the session, we constantly cross-checked each other's angles. Especially with this frontal selfie, leveraging the wide-angle perspective of the smartphone camera maximally showcased the intricate design details across the bodice and shoulders. As for shots revealing legs or areas requiring mindful discretion, we ensured tasteful, organic coverage in post-production. After careful curation and fine-tuning, the coloration and texture beautifully matched the antique aesthetic of the 2nd Anniversary Cheongsam.

Weaving casual snapshots into the breaks between formal photo takes to capture our spontaneous state served as a truly special keepsake; pouring our energy into beloved projects alongside sisters is always profoundly rewarding. I really love this natural, effortless vibe without forcing theatrical poses—simply capturing the authentic tailoring and stitching of the garments is more than enough. This Arknights cosplay Sisters photo stands as an unforgettable highlight of my Study abroad life.
