[Columbina Cosplay] The Damselette in Genshin Impact: Intertwining of Pure White and Deep Blue

This is my first time trying to build a scene using a large area of ice-blue floral arrangements and white Roman columns. Paired with soft lighting, it visually creates the dreamy atmosphere of that quiet girl in Genshin Impact. The white streamers and lace straps on the outfit are the key details of the costume this time. To fit the character's identity as the "Damselette," I specifically chose mercerized fabric for the accessories rather than standard reflective satin, which tends to be stiffer. This way, the drape of the fabric when moving better matches the character's temperament.

For the wig styling, I previously did multiple layers of highlight dyeing to restore this gradient effect at the hair ends, where red and pink peek through the black. The cutout straps on the pants, the asymmetric feather decorations, and even the position of a single button had to balance practical wearing with the lens's visual outcome. The hardest part of the photoshoot process was how to naturally let the layered sleeves drape down while maintaining an elegant sitting posture. Fortunately, the light was stable that day, and the white reflection from the wool blanket did a great job filling in facial details, keeping the makeup looking clear and clean.

Aside from the set design and costume details, I arranged two identical cotton dolls nearby as scene embellishments, which definitely added a sense of interaction to the frame. For this kind of character-based studio shoot, the more thorough the initial preparations, the higher the accuracy of the final photos will be. Putting on this costume, sitting amidst the flowers, and quietly looking into the lens at that exact moment feels like the closest instant to being the character for this Genshin Impact cosplay and Damselette cosplay.
