[Canaan cosplay] NARAKA: BLADEPOINT hidden tribe girl's under-the-moon image record

The theme for this shoot is Canaan from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. I am very satisfied with the scene layout and lighting atmosphere, and the final photo output rate is extremely high. To restore the charm of the character, everything from the wig to the clothing details went through repeated considerations. Seeing the final photos made me feel that all the hard work was well worth it.

Let's talk about this white hair first. Canaan's white hair look is highly iconic. In choosing the wig, I specially selected this smooth and layered material, and did extra fluffing when wearing it. Combined with the crescent-shaped metal forehead accessory, I hoped to present that kind of Western Region deity-like cold elegance in front of the lens. The makeup was not overly heavy, focusing on preserving the blue, translucent quality of the pupils, with slightly elongated eyeliner paired with fine glitters around the eyes to make the gaze more piercing.

The costume details are also worth talking about. The top worn this time is a dark, modified style, retaining the Chinese stand-up collar and traditional frog closure designs, but the fabric is embossed with very obvious dark scale textures, carrying much of the armor quality of Canaan as a shadow tribe assassin. Paired with black half-finger gloves and hand guards, it gave a sharper feel when striking poses. The legs were paired with light-colored stockings and ankle straps, optimizing the overall visual proportions while presenting the character's soft figure.

The scene setup was truly thoughtful. The behind-the-scenes team specially found an ancient-style wooden structure building and placed a giant semi-transparent moon prop behind as a backlight. The bamboo lantern on the left provided a warm-toned auxiliary light source, forming a great warm-cold contrast with the cool moon. Next to the wooden railing were red maple leaf branches, and a white plush carpet was spread out in front. These collisions of textures and colors made the frame highly layered. We intentionally placed dry ice on the ground to create a misty effect; during the shoot, it truly felt like dreaming back to Morus Isle.

During the shooting process, we struck several different poses to showcase the character's temperament. For the wide-angle composition, I sat on the wooden platform with my legs crossed, holding a black prop, which, coordinated with the calligraphy scrolls and ink-stained fabrics behind, could capture that crisp yet slightly melancholic atmosphere. The side-sitting posture holding the bamboo lantern added a touch more tranquility, while the close-up shots focused on showcasing the gaze and the playful detail of biting a pink candy piece in the mouth. I hope that through switching between different shot sizes, everyone can see more facets of this character's charm.

The control of the atmosphere in post-processing was also relatively restrained, avoiding excessive skin smoothing that would lose texture, and preserving the original light and shadow directions. The moon highlights, the glimmer of the bamboo lantern, the smoke on the ground, along with the calligraphy on the scrolls, overall formed a highly story-filled ancient style photoshoot vibe.
