Since I pulled her to max chain, how could I possibly be afraid of not capturing her aura? This time, I finally recreated the complete look of Hiyuki. The modified white kimono with red patterns paired with the complex obi structure has details that are even more troublesome than how they look in the game.
The wig is that kind of very translucent silver-gray, and the bow hair accessory on top of the head along with the red and white cord knots were thickened, otherwise it wouldn't hold up such a large volume of hair.
When shooting this set of photos, we intentionally used warm-toned studio light sources to simulate the texture of a sunset. The ocean wave patterns on the screen and the cherry blossom branches beside it were all set up as physical sets in the background, which is much more natural than simply overlaying images in post-processing. To reflect the elegant yet fierce feeling of the game character, both the long blade and the umbrella were treated as important visual elements. Especially the standing posture holding the red paper umbrella—the center of gravity was actually very hard to find, and it relied entirely on core strength to make the skirt hem drift in the desired direction.
Previously, many people said they wanted to see her holding a blade barefoot, so I specially switched between several approaches to interpret it, bringing both the clean look of wearing tabi socks and a more relaxed, casual posture, which makes the coordination offer a greater sense of contrast. Looking back at the 3D model after finishing this cosplay shoot, I feel it lives up to the luck I had during the gacha pulls.
