I finally pulled off Komazawa Noi from Cosmic Princess Kaguya! at the Zhanjiang anime convention this time. The 'femboy kitten' mentioned in previous posts was actually just a joke—this was a genuine girl appearing in front of the camera, and that gap contrast was truly fun.

The rich layering of this outfit looked fantastic under the convention lighting. The inner pink Japanese-style top paired with the deep blue wide-sleeved outer robe, edged with white ruffled frills, had a wonderful fluttering motion when walking. The oversized pink bow and black leather belt cinched the waist noticeably, instantly anchoring the visual focal point. For the wig, I went with tips dip-dyed in magenta; to keep it silky and prevent frizzing during the convention, I treated it with a low-temperature smoothing solution before heading out. Blunt bangs paired with these dark-tipped animal ears and the small forehead horn dialed the look's recognition up to max.

Putting on the large-diameter red contact lenses immediately brought out that slightly dreamy, hazy gaze. Because the sleeves of the outer robe are exceptionally wide, lifting an arm could easily knock over nearby items, so posing required extra care. I really love the deep blue arm sleeve design, which is secured around the upper arm with pink buckled straps—decorative while staying firmly in place without slipping. The black-and-white striped plush tail behind me was actually quite hefty and needed proper anchoring so it wouldn't hinder walking.

The convention carpet featured a black-and-white geometric maze pattern, which can easily look busy in full-body shots. The photographer cleverly located a darker background and utilized overhead spotlights to make the subject's colors pop. When shooting seated on the carpet, I took off my shoes and set them aside; the White socks paired with the pink leg ring on the right leg created a natural sense of extension in the frame.

For a character with such charming gap moe, besides standard poses like standing with hands folded, I also tried spreading all ten fingers in a playful pouncing motion and kneeling politely. The Zhanjiang convention venue was relatively spacious; finding a hotel hallway with leading lines and slightly darkening the periphery in post-processing yielded these recap photos packed with upscale vibes. Putting this whole getup on definitely took time, especially securing the tail and concealing the bobby pins for the horns—I'll definitely need to brainstorm how to optimize dressing efficiency next time.
