The Kunming Comic Convention has just ended, and I've shot a set of live Convention photos for this blue and white maid outfit. The outfit chosen this time is from Zhao Zhao Xia Zi. The overall cut fits the body perfectly. The dark blue patterned fabric has a slight silky luster, and paired with large areas of white ruffles and black lace decoration at the cuffs, the sense of layering and contrasting colors are incredibly well-done. The golden cross chain on the chest and the golden bells on both sides of the headwear are wonderful highlights, making a crisp sound when walking. The wig is from Bieshui. I specially chose a style with a gray-silver base and cyan-blue highlights. The straight bangs paired with slightly curled ends prevent the overall styling from looking too stiff, adding a touch of lively anime texture. The focus of the makeup this time was emphasizing the coordination of the eye makeup. The cyan colored contacts echoed the wig color, and the eyeliner was slightly elongated to make my gaze appear more focused. Meanwhile, the blush was light and natural, giving an overall soft yet sufficiently eye-catching visual impression.

At the convention venue, the lighting was quite complex, so we tried our best to utilize the cool ambient light on-site to capture the texture of the blue fabric. During the shoot, I tried a few different poses, and the three photos this time present three distinct states. Photo 1 is a relatively relaxed standing pose, fully presenting the bow and collar structure of the top; Photo 2 lowers my center of gravity into a squat, which beautifully showcases the puffiness of the skirt hem and the blue-and-white ribbons on both sides of the sleeves; Photo 3 features me sitting on a ladder on-site, a pose that perfectly elongates the visual effect of my legs, which, paired with white tights and black crisscross strap platform shoes, gives the overall Cosplayer outfit a higher level of completion. To complement the cat-like atmosphere of this outfit, the overall movements were made light and slow, with hands tucked in and gaze looking straight at the camera. I think the resulting effect turned out quite in line with expectations.

When putting together this Cosplayer outfit, I actually hesitated for a long time on the choice of accessories and hardware. Finally settling on the golden bells and crosses, it beautifully merged the everyday vibe of the maid outfit with a touch of mysterious temperament—not looking overly complicated, yet having plenty of details to look closely at. I hadn't updated in a while, but using this Kunming Comic Convention as an opportunity, I've finally brought this little cat out to get some sun. Actually, the shooting efficiency on-site was quite high, and since this outfit isn't picky about angles, we could basically capture the right expression wherever the lighting was comfortable. I specifically adjusted the shape of the white ruffles at the collar to wrap in a V-shape, so even with slight movements, the neck area wouldn't look too empty. The sleeves are also quite large, and the ruffles and fingerless design at the cuffs look great during larger movements. Looking back at these photos now, although the convention was noisy, the photographer's snapshots were highly synchronized with me, guiding my gaze beautifully. The final result not only restored the style I wanted at the time but also turned out unexpectedly playful. Paired with the platform Mary Janes, walking in them all day was actually very stable and comfortable; the practicality for roaming the convention passed with flying colors. Overall, the experience at the Kunming Comic Convention was highly comfortable, and the photogenic rate of this blue-and-white cat-style outfit was definitely on point.
