[Rem Cosplay] The Otherworld Girl in a Qipao Look

This time I tried a Qipao look for Rem, which feels completely different from her usual maid outfit. The costume features white as the primary color, paired with gold piping and blue crystal decorations. It beautifully preserves the character's iconic blue hair and hair ornaments while perfectly integrating the tailoring design of a traditional Chinese Qipao. The chest lacing and cutout details make the overall outfit look more lightweight, while the golden arm ring on the thigh and the fine chain on the ankle add a touch of luxury.

During the shoot, we specially chose a classical room with wooden grilles and floral decorations. The sunlight filtered through the window frames, creating an exceptionally soft lighting effect that matched the texture of this outfit flawlessly. The wig was styled into a fluffy short cut, and I'm quite satisfied with the accuracy of the bangs and the side hair accessories. Although my legs got sore from sitting cross-legged in high heels for a long time, seeing the flow of light and shadow in the final photos made it completely worth it.

For this posture, I tried a more lazy and casual pose rather than intentionally striking a combat or defensive stance, which instead highlighted the soft and beautiful temperament brought by the Qipao. The blush and eyeshadow in my makeup both echoed the blue tones to make the overall colors more unified. I hope everyone likes this different version of Rem from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World in this 2D world style.
