Putting on this grass-green dress, wearing the Elf ears and the iconic four-leaf clover hair accessory, I instantly entered Nahida's state. For this shoot, I specially selected an indoor scene with a large amount of real green plants, utilizing the natural light from the window and the cabinet structures to create a quiet yet vibrant atmosphere deep within the sea of trees. For the makeup, I emphasized the green eyeshadow gradient and under-eye blush to make the gaze look more dynamic and gentle. The wig was lightly curled and paired with a small flower crown on top; I am very satisfied with the degree of detail restoration. During the shoot, I tried sitting and half-lying curled-up postures, wanting to capture that temperament of the Dendro Archon when she is gently thinking yet carrying a little bit of playfulness. The white thigh-highs and ruffled cuffs added a softer feel to the overall look, while the satin material of the skirt hem presented wonderful luster changes under different lighting. As a character portrayal shoot leaning toward a fresh style, the post-processing didn't over-adjust the colors, preserving the natural color gradations of the plants and clothing. Every time I cosplay a character, it is a re-creation based on my understanding of them; Nahida's wisdom and sense of tolerance allowed me to find a very comfortable shooting rhythm in this set of works.
