[Nakiri Ayame Cosplay] hololive's Summer Special: Ojou Nakiri Descends!

The live photos from Day 4 of the Firefly ACG Expo have finally been organized! This Nakiri Ayame cosplay outfit worked exceptionally well in this summer-themed set.

From arriving in the morning to finishing the shoot in the afternoon, the comfort of this outfit was also a key consideration. The breathable dark blue sporty drop-shoulder jacket wasn't too stuffy, while the red-and-white plaid stitching on the sleeves and interior along with various badge patches gave it rich layers under the light. The white shirt and black tie inside formed classic school uniform elements, and the V-shaped color-blocked pattern below the tie brightened up the chest area nicely, keeping the overall look from feeling too monotonous.

The head styling required a lot of care: the long straight white hair had pink gradient ends, presenting a unique luster under both cool and warm lighting at the venue. The white horns on top served as one of the cutest highlights of this look, paired with black ribbon headbands on both sides to add delicate refinement on top of playful liveliness. For makeup, I applied a generous amount of red eyeshadow to echo the red base of the horns and the iris color, delivering a translucent gaze in front of the lens that brightened up my overall complexion.

The bottom half balanced sweetness with crispness. The fine white line along the edge of the black pleated miniskirt added texture, maintaining unity with the upper uniform style. The over-the-knee black thigh-high stockings showed clear texture in live convention photography; the matte material avoided harsh reflection and made the leg lines look very even. This Black tights outfit was accented by a black leather buckle leg strap on the thigh, creating a visual focal point for the leg area. Paired with chunky lace-up Martin boots, it combined anime playfulness with a touch of punk edge. The thick-heeled boots provided stable support while walking around the expo, so there was no fear of foot fatigue from standing long hours.

In terms of backdrop selection, the official giant pink-and-white ring prop was extremely eye-catching, flanked by light blue palm tree cutouts, blue-and-white striped beach loungers, and a white sand-like floor, creating a remarkably refreshing holiday atmosphere. This high-brightness set combined with vibrant colors perfectly highlighted the energy of this red-and-blue color-blocked costume.

During shooting, to showcase the dynamic beauty of this look, I experimented with various body movements. For instance, lifting one leg while extending an arm diagonally combined the open jacket style with the motion of the skirt; sitting on the beach chair holding a matching plushie while leaning forward or tilting my head to greet the camera showed a more approachable state. Resting my chin on both hands beneath the lens balanced the frame visually and naturally drew attention to my facial expression and leg accessories, creating a strong interactive feel in the photos.

You could really feel everyone's love for this VTuber character at the event site. As a cosplayer, conveying the vibrant, energetic side of the character through photos was a wonderful experience for me. Whether in costume craftsmanship details, lighting cooperation at the venue, or posing direction during the shoot, this work captured a state I'm thoroughly satisfied with. Enjoying the joy brought by the character is precisely a major driving force for participating in anime conventions and shoots every time.
