This time in the studio, I recreated Violet Evergarden's daily indoor look from Violet Evergarden. Through this set of photos, I want to talk with everyone about my understanding of the character's state of mind. The deep blue top adopts elements of classical tailoring; the white ruffles on the cuffs are complemented by golden piping and fine ribbon knots, while the hem features an off-white base paired with dark brown and golden geometric lines. The emerald brooch and beige ruffled cravat outline distinct character traits. To highlight the retro atmosphere, a vintage deep-colored wooden bookshelf was specially selected as the background, filled with distressed hardcover foreign books.

The props on the desktop are an area I love very much. Exquisite bone china tea sets paired with metallic stands, a small desk clock, miniature chess pieces, playing cards, and dried flower bouquets—these fine objects add a touch of daily life to the frame. During the shooting process, I also experimented with multiple states, such as leaning against the round table with closed eyes to rest, feeling that brief moment of tranquility after a busy day, or holding a vintage leather suitcase with both hands, pausing in front of the bookshelf.

Looking back at this costume, the main deep blue color tone paired with a large amount of off-white and golden embellishments allows the entire styling to maintain a sense of gorgeousness within low-key elegance. In terms of material selection, we can see the layered feel of the ruffled cuffs and the draping feel of the front cravat, which are all intended to give the 2D paper character more realism in the 3D world. To coordinate with this outfit, the wig also underwent meticulous trimming, leaving a few strands of bangs draping down the sides of the face, paired with red ribbon hair accessories to make the overall hairstyle look lightweight and natural.

During the real-scene shooting process, my favorite set of movements involved holding an envelope with a red wax seal. This prop actually perfectly fits the character's emotional setting; the wax seal is not just a closure for the letter, but more like a heavy entrustment of emotion. Therefore, when I held the envelope, I deliberately kept my grip moderate—neither too tight to look stiff, nor too loose to look casual—thereby conveying a sense of solemnity. In addition, the inclusion of an easel and oil canvas also made the overall vintage study theme much more enriched.

The understanding of the words "I love you," under the character's background, often carries a belated, slow realization. Through visual imagery like letters, wax seals, and holding bouquets, that delicate and silent emotion can be intuitively transmitted. In the movement design, whether it was the body leaning slightly forward when delivering the letter or the close-up of holding the letter paper, I hoped to portray the certainty and gentleness within the character's heart.

Regarding the lighting setup, the photographer used direct hard light. This light and shadow created a strong contrast between brightness and darkness, giving the entire photoset a dramatic texture akin to a vintage oil painting. At the same time, the dark curtain background beautifully supported the character's golden hair and light-colored contact lenses for this Blonde hair cosplay look. The makeup this time emphasized the eye contour, paired with red lip makeup, to present this impression that combines heroism with softness.

The color palette of the entire photoset leans toward a rich vintage style, with deep blue curtains, dark wooden vessels, and golden luster interwoven. During post-processing, no overly exaggerated filter adjustments were made, instead trying our best to preserve the studio's original lighting texture, allowing the fusion between the person and the background to look more natural and authentic. I also hope this creation filled with a classical aura can let everyone who sees the photos feel the unique gentleness and serenity of that world for this Cosplay photoshoot.
