The theme of this photoshoot is Tewi Inaba from Touhou Project, a character who looks soft and cute but is actually a scheming girl at heart. To restore that innocent yet cunning temperament, the makeup focused on strengthening the red tones of the eye makeup, paired with short black hair and fluffy rabbit ear decorations to visually create a bit of a gap moe effect for this Rabbit cosplay.
The costume chosen is this pink dress patched with red and white plaid. The neckline and cuffs feature plenty of lace and ruffles, and along with a few orange carrot accessories, it blends the elements of "rabbit" and "girlhood" naturally. The white background studio combined with a grid mesh backdrop provides soft and clean lighting, which highlights the facial details without making the complex skirt look cluttered.
During the shoot, I experimented with several different angles and micro-expressions, from the intellectual disguise of pushing up glasses to a cold glance back, trying my best to capture the realism of this character in different states. A lot of effort went into everything from the outfit coordination to the hair and makeup details for this photography sharing session. The post-processing also preserved the skin texture and the authentic weave of the clothing without excessive airbrushing, hoping to present a fresh yet unique cosplay atmosphere.
