I have always wanted to shoot a library-themed bunny detective cosplay photoshoot, and it has finally come true this time. Drawing from this Amiya JR collaboration look in Arknights, I felt it was particularly perfect for creating a rigorous yet slightly adorable investigation atmosphere. This look has so many details: the small blue beret paired with the iconic plush rabbit ears, the bow tie at the neckline, and that leather belt with multiple metal buckles and a vintage pocket watch, capturing both a detective's crisp efficiency and the character's native agility.

Before the shoot, when communicating with the photographer, we had already decided on highlighting a few core points. The first was the 'investigation vibe,' so I prepared a magnifying glass with a handle, as well as several heavy, vintage foreign books. During the shoot, I tried different poses to convey this feeling, such as sitting at a dark round wooden table, holding the magnifying glass as if studying evidence; or sitting on the carpet with open books scattered around, looking as if I were lost in thought after just flipping through reference materials. Another small prop was those little blue rings, paired with white wrist guards and a blue coat, making the overall styling echo even better in the details.

The atmosphere of the studio this time also matched the theme perfectly. The cabinets were filled with hardcover books of various colors, and with the warm yellow-toned desk lamp shining down, the whole frame possessed a great old-school library photoshoot texture. Since it leans toward a detective and knowledge-seeking theme, I avoided overly cold or distracting colors during post-production color grading. Instead, I preserved the steady weight of the original dark wood and slightly dialed up the contrast of the warm light to make the gold-stamped lettering on the book spines and the blue on the costume stand out more, giving the overall look a retro flavor akin to an oil painting texture.

Shooting this set of work actually tested my stamina quite a bit, especially when sitting amidst the piles of books; I had to adjust my position several times to find the most natural angle, while also minding the drape of the skirt hem and the light refraction on the white silk stockings. However, seeing the final photos truly made me feel everything was well worth it. The photographer's composition was highly meticulous. A few sitting poses shot from a low angle perfectly combined the rabbit ears with the high sections of the bookshelves, offering great visual layers. This studio shoot did not use excessive flamboyant special effects, hoping instead to draw viewers into this investigation scenario through the combination of light, shadow, and props. I feel that many design details of this collaboration skin actually appear with much higher texture when placed in this kind of real-scene photography.

Finally, regarding this official photo set, I consciously preserved some facial light and shadow contours during post-processing without excessive skin smoothing, as I wanted everyone to see a more authentic and natural makeup texture. Amiya's JR collaboration look has plenty of details to explore, such as the plaid pattern on the skirt and the white borders on the coat, all displaying excellent layering under the lighting. I hope everyone can experience the bunny detective earnestly solving a case in the library that I wished to express through these photos.
