This shoot was arranged on Gouqi Island. To present Yanami Anna's Summer swimsuit state, I prepared a blue wig and a light blue string bikini in advance. The white cropped T-shirt was specially chosen; its print pattern and overall relaxed fit truly match the character's everyday feel. On the day of the shoot, the sunlight was extremely bright and the sea breeze was quite strong, so styling the wig took some effort—it needed to have fluffy layering while securing the side strands to prevent them from getting too messy in the wind. As for makeup, the focus was on the blush base, generously blended across the cheeks and nose tip, paired with blue contact lenses to get as close as possible to the character's energetic yet slightly scheming vibe.

Coming to the pebble beach terrace, there was a breathtaking, expansive ocean view. To complement the T-shirt and swimsuit, the pose choreography was kept as natural as possible, such as raising a hand to block the sunlight, clasping hands behind the back with a slight forward lean, or flashing a simple V-sign. While looking for angles, the photographer used the terrace's low wall as a foreground to frame the subject nicely. Direct sunlight created harsh lighting, so we looked for slightly backlight-slanted angles to keep the face soft while making the blue wig look more translucent in the sun. The high stool on the beach was also a great prop; although standing poses were mainly used this time, the overall atmospheric ambiance of the environment was already rich enough.

As a coser, every on-location shoot requires paying attention to many details. For instance, to prevent the wig from getting frizzy, I carried a small bottle of hair care oil to groom it anytime. When matching the light-colored swimsuit with the white T-shirt, attention had to be paid to edge smoothness to avoid noticeable wrinkles. Walking on the pebble beach required caution to avoid scratches. Since this Summer swimsuit look is relatively casual, the expression didn't need to be overly exaggerated; it relied more on natural interaction with the lens and maintaining eye contact. The seawater of Gouqi Island is crystal clear, and the hills and boats in the background enriched the frame; this natural environment helps one relax faster and step into character.

Looking back on the entire shooting process, from wardrobe matching to location selection, everything was aimed at recreating this summer seaside scene. Without complex props, it heavily relied on natural light and the innate ambiance of the location. Blue hair can easily look abrupt under direct sunlight, so balancing white balance and exposure was necessary to harmonize the overall colors. We stood by the shore for a long time, switching through several angles, and the final frames captured both the character's traits and a refreshing seaside breeze. For those who love on-location photography, choosing the right time and place and adjusting your state to match the environment often yields the most natural results. This attempt on Gouqi Island can be considered a very solid and grounded record.
