This blue shrine maiden outfit is truly wonderful to restore, and its texture is incredibly eye-catching under the lens. As a classic character from Touhou Project, the core of Reimu Hakurei's temperament lies in that cool yet agile vibe. To well restore that moment, I paid special attention to the layering of the clothing, especially the pleat treatment of the skirt hem and the details of the cuffs, which manifest excellent texture from various angles of movement.
I especially love the immersive, "picture-like" atmosphere of this shoot. The spell card props in my hands were also meticulously weathered, striving to fit the character's demeanor when guarding the boundaries in Gensokyo. Many friends told me that this outfit has great texture; in fact, during the makeup and styling process, I kept polishing the micro-expressions of my gaze, wanting to express that sense of mission in guarding the boundary.
In this world full of fantasy, being able to reunite with the character in this way is truly the greatest joy of being a cosplayer. The flowing blue light and shadow make it feel as if one can truly hear the distant bells of Gensokyo, which is also my favorite scene since getting into Touhou.
