The concept behind this shoot was blending Ganyu's celestial elegance with traditional Chinese classical aesthetics, which led us to curate a set featuring wooden folding screens, flowing satin drapery, and lush floral arrangements. The costume incorporates thoughtful modifications based on the original design: the light-blue fabric features subtle jacquard textures that cast a soft sheen under studio lighting. The most striking highlight is undeniably the plush, heavy pink shawl, which forms an arresting textural contrast against the dress; though it was genuinely warm to wear, the final visual impact made it entirely worthwhile. The dress's high side slit introduces dynamic visual breathing room, flattering and elongating the leg lines whether walking or seated.

To avoid monotony in the lower silhouette, I styled a white lace leg ring alongside white high heels adorned with plush pom-poms—such minute details often elevate the overall sophistication of a look. While posing, I explored varied stances: standing with one leg softly poised while partially concealing my gaze behind a round silk fan to evoke quiet intrigue; or seated cross-legged on the floor as in the second shot, channeling a languid, effortless composure. Throughout each pose adjustment, I paid close attention to how the shawl draped, ensuring it looked graceful and organic rather than bulky. For makeup, purple contact lenses were an indispensable essential, complemented by peach-pink gradient eye blending that made the character pop with vibrant vitality against the cool-toned backdrop.

For props, I specially selected a pale-blue traditional Chinese round fan whose delicate floral motifs mirrored the set's flower arrangements, with its red tassel serving as a brilliant visual accent. The lighting design on set was equally deliberate: warm amber background illumination played against a cool-blue key light to craft a striking temperature contrast, separating the subject cleanly from the dark backdrop while enriching depth. Even though I don't play as actively nowadays, seeing stunning designs always rekindles my passion—I've always held a deep appreciation for Ganyu's character design. The overall styling reached exceptional polish, from trimming the wig and securing hairpieces to fine-tuning the golden piped borders along the costume. Scattering blue and white petals across the floor further enriched the frame, gently anchoring the visual focus on the character. Transforming mental visions into reality and preserving them through the lens brings an irreplaceable sense of fulfillment. Every shutter release under sculpted light is a personal reinterpretation of the character, as well as a heartfelt homage to what I love.
