Let's talk about the details of Jett's cosplay photoshoot this time. When preparing this outfit, I focused heavily on the crispness of the silhouette. For the teal and black color-blocked sections of the upper garment, I purposely chose a fabric with a certain thickness and wrinkle resistance so that it wouldn't look slouchy when performing wide-range crouching or dynamic movements. The white printed patterns on the shoulders also needed to be sharp without blurred edges. The pants were chosen as a tight-fitting style with slight elasticity, featuring gathering on the back of the knees to ensure comfort during movements while fitting the tactical athletic feel inherent to the character.

Belts and accessories are the key to enhancing the overall texture. The black tactical belt, buckles, and straps—these rigid accessories reflect light under illumination, so a lot of care went into the aging and painting to avoid a cheap plastic feel. The blue binding on the edges of the half-finger gloves, as well as the teal color blocks on the boot toes, all echoed the main colors of the costume. Styling the wig was quite a test of trimming; the silver-white wispy hair needed clear layering without being too messy, and the root treatment needed to look voluminous to support that sharp short-hair styling.

In terms of props, the floating kunai weapons were carved and polished from lightweight materials, finished with a metallic-textured coating, and the texture on the strap portions was meticulously detailed. The teal glowing smoke and energy vortexes in the photos were added in post-production. Because Jett's ability design leans toward wind and rapid movement, when conceiving the special effects, I tried to make the lighting effects present a sense of flow and wrapping without looking too stiff. The needle-like hidden weapon pinched between the fingers in the second picture was also a small prop made to fit the character's skill setup, with size and weight controlled within a range that allows single-handed gripping without affecting posing.

The shooting location was chosen as an industrial-style factory building with very high ceilings; the rough concrete floor and steel frame structure fit the character's tactical background very well. In lighting, cool-toned side-backlight was primarily used to outline the character's silhouette, making the subject pop out against the dark background. For action direction, instead of choosing conventional standing poses, I opted for kneeling on one knee and side-sitting postures, coordinating with hand gestures to capture the split second of readiness to sprint or throw weapons. In terms of gaze, gray-blue circle lenses were worn, paired with slightly upswept eye makeup, hoping to present her calm yet aggressive traits. From the costume pattern-making to post-production special effects, every step worked hard on the details, and I hope everyone can feel this crispness belonging to the tactical arena.

Shooting on location is different from studio shooting; the advantage of studio shooting is controllable lighting, which facilitates me layering special effects in post-production. The special effects workload this time was not small; every trace of wind had to be drawn following the direction of the character's hand power generation to look natural. In addition, some small logos and hidden patterns on the clothing were finalized only after checking numerous reference images. I hope this photo set allows friends who love Jett to feel the character's charm.
