The exaggerated ruffled sleeves and asymmetrical hemline, combined with metallic silver high-heeled boots and crisscross black leg straps, instantly drew focus even in the busy convention floor environment. For the shoot, we chose a slightly low-angle perspective, which combined with the handheld prop conveyed a cool, poised aura of intimidation. This costume puts body proportions to the test: the voluminous sleeves and hemline can easily make the silhouette look top-heavy if the wig lacks volume, so I specifically padded the wig roots to maintain a balanced profile.
The second blue-and-white look brings an entirely different aesthetic—gentle and ethereal, yet concealing a razor-sharp edge. The long gradient hair from pale blue to white catches the wind with a sense of fluidity, pairing with the massive blue-and-white weapon to create an expansive, graceful posture. The white walls, moon gates, and magnolia branches of the traditional Chinese architecture enhanced the character's serene and detached elegance. This armor, weaving blue, gold, and black together, is rich with intricate details: the iridescent circular chest ornament and the metallic silver shoulder trim reflected delicate sheens in the daylight. A candid shot taken while interacting sideways with someone captured a remarkably relaxed, natural moment. Unlike the strictly choreographed posing at indoor expos, real-life interaction adds vibrant authenticity to cosplay. A key challenge of outdoor shooting is that hair easily gets disheveled, and light-colored wigs can look overly shiny or dry under sunlight; before shooting, I applied conditioning treatments to give the wig a soft, silvery-white glow under natural light.

Furthermore, because the headpiece was large with uneven weight distribution, it required numerous bobby pins to anchor it firmly to the wig to prevent shifting during shooting. While exhausting, the exquisite refinement of the final images made it completely worthwhile.
