[Rem cosplay] Little devil witch's convention photography studio record

This idea for Rem's little devil cosplay was actually decided at the beginning of the year, mainly wanting to try the combination of glossy materials and witch elements. The wig was trimmed into the classic blunt-bangs short hair, but this time a light blue with a purplish tint was chosen to match the cold feel of the little devil setting. The makeup used blue circle lenses, with a bit of red-toned shading added to the outer corners of the eyes to highlight the devilish feel, while overall retaining Rem's signature well-behaved look. The base makeup pursued a matte texture, because convention photography studio flashes tend to eat away makeup, so I deliberately made the setting very solid to avoid reflection under strong light.

The clothes chosen were a black glossy PVC material slip dress with ruffled hems and white lace added to the front chest, presenting an overall dark yet somewhat sweet style. The white bow tie and black bow on the neck are the finishing touches, instantly combining maid elements with the little devil witch. The small black wings on the back are soft and very light, but the captured effect is very three-dimensional. The witch hat was chosen as a large red-and-black spliced one with a huge brim, plus yellow stars and ribbons, creating a strong color contrast that is particularly conspicuous in dark environments. The photographer specially reminded me that this PVC material is prone to reflection, so diffuse reflection was used in lighting to avoid large areas of blown-out highlights and pure white, preserving the texture of the clothing wrinkles.

The trident in my hand was matched by myself, with a red fork head and a black long pole, restoring the feeling of traditional devil weapons, and it feels quite weighty in hand. Because it needed to be held with one hand during shooting, it really tests core strength. I deliberately chose a red fork head for the trident to form a sharp contrast with the black pole, holding it not only as a prop, but also as a visual extension. In terms of action conception, the photos sitting on the ladder actually tried several angles, and finally found that turning sideways and crossing the legs can maximize the highlighting of leg lines, while slightly tilting the props in hand breaks the stiffness of the frame.

This time it was shot during the spare time of the convention, with carts and dark curtains in the background. The photographer used the on-site light to darken the background, focusing the lighting on me, and the resulting effect has a special texture. During the shoot, I sat on a black folding ladder, which can well showcase the leg lines, paired with black stockings and black leg rings, visually lengthening the proportions. Later, I stood up and took a few photos posing with cat paws; compared to sitting, the action is a bit more playful.

Overall, this outfit is extremely eye-catching on camera, but walking around inside the venue might be a bit stuffy because the breathability of the glossy material is average. However, seeing the photo output effect, all the hard work was totally worth it. For cosers who like Rem and want to try different styles, the little devil series is a very good choice. I have also been thinking about how to add new designs while retaining the core characteristics of the character, and this time's glossy witch paired with a trident is a very interesting attempt. I am very satisfied with this set of pictures, and I also hope to continue trying more creative stylings at future conventions.
