Putting on this classic sailor-style JK uniform, I went out for Photography at Manhua Manor to capture a set of snapshots for my Spring outfit. The neckline design of this outfit is relatively simple without too many intricate ruffles, and the built-in pink bowtie serves as a visual highlight. It doesn't look overly flashy but instead carries a clean, preppy feel. The dark grey-blue pleated skirt of the bottom piece combined with the white hydrangeas and purple wildflowers blooming in spring forms a soft neutral tone in color, which is visually very comfortable.

The morning light was quite soft, making it perfect for this sweet-style outdoor photography. Among the shot scenes, I am most satisfied with that stretch of gravel-paved tracks and the grassy slope beside it; the shot of sitting on the tracks and looking back happens to coordinate with the shallow depth of field brought by a wide aperture, isolating the character from the flower bush background and making the image texture very translucent. The black platform Mary Jane shoes actually play an excellent balancing role in this environment—on one hand elongating proportions, and on the other hand creating a certain visual grounding point with the light-colored uniform and light-colored environment to prevent the frame from looking top-heavy.

Speaking of the overall look, besides the setting of the costume itself, the hairstyle and makeup are also crucial parts of staying close to the character's sense of identity. The straight bangs and long straight black hair not only preserve the pure innocence of an Anime girl, but slightly styling the hair at the temples also shapes the face, better fitting the casual yet vivid temperament of the JK style. When a gentle breeze blows, the hair strands and the skirt hem float in sync, capturing a highly dynamic moment.

In the actual shooting process, expression doesn't need to be too forced. For instance, when holding props—whether it's a book, a bag, or holding up a hat—the most important thing is the relaxation of the movements. Overly tense poses easily make the photos look stiff. You can utilize elements in the scene more, like reaching out a hand to feel the wind, or holding a book pretending to read; the captured expressions will be more natural, giving off that feeling of a Campus-style photo shoot or an accidental encounter in a park with instant candid snaps.

Additionally, I'd like to talk about the color processing of this photo set. The pink and white mixed spring flowers, the green branches and leaves, and the blue and white uniform inherently share a natural visual echo. Therefore, there's no need for exaggerated tonal alterations in post-processing; keeping the raw photo's brightness and adding a touch of soft light effect can fully restore that fresh spring atmosphere full of breathing room. For friends who love shooting this same style, I suggest looking for places with large patches of white flowers or track elements, as it genuinely adds to the layering.

This photo set isn't just a single-action shoot, but hopes to present a daily life feeling of going out for a walk and enjoying the sunshine on a spring weekend. Among these final selected pictures, there are standing, sitting, and slightly leaping poses, making the overall rhythm quite rich. Although it's mainly about a JK uniform, it's more like a life-oriented record, blending the breath of spring with portraiture, using the lens to preserve a relaxed and bright time.
