Standing in the exhibition hall wearing this blue and white porcelain style Saber costume, the light poured down from the high ceiling lights, perfectly creating a bit of dramatic light and shadow contrast. The design of this outfit is very special, integrating cutout tailoring with Chinese elements into the original temperament of the King of Knights. The blue and white color scheme patterns present a porcelain glaze-like luster under different lighting, especially the wide flowing water sleeves and the train behind; I had to be extra careful not to step on them when walking.

During the shoot, I utilized a high stool on-site to adjust my center of gravity, which not only kept my posture stretched out but also allowed the skirt hem to fall naturally into fluid lines. When holding the long sword in the first photo, the lever arm on my wrist was actually quite a test of balance, but the texture of the metal prop was a huge plus. Switching to a paper umbrella brought out another kind of gentle and graceful atmosphere, where the patterns on the umbrella surface echoed the motifs of the costume. Since these are anime convention photos, the background was slightly cluttered, but the photographer utilized a wide aperture and low-angle framing to turn the industrial-style structure into a backdrop with great depth of field, keeping the focus entirely on the character's silhouette.

A lot of thought went into the makeup and hair as well; the blonde wig was modified in layers, and the ahoge (cowlick) on top of my head is the absolute soul of the entire look. Combined with clean eye makeup and light-colored contact lenses, I am personally satisfied with the character accuracy. Every time I cosplay characters with long sleeves and long skirts, the biggest challenge is how to prevent the fabric from looking bloated in front of the lens. I had to constantly pay attention to the placement angle of my arms and the overlapping position of my legs to keep the visual lines slender.

The moments captured in the photos, whether it's the heroic aura while holding the sword or the softness when holding the umbrella, showcase the multiple facets of the same character under different prop pairings. With crowds of people coming and going at the convention, being able to calm my mind and take a set of photos with such complete composition really requires thanking the photographer's patience and on-site scheduling through this convention photography experience. When sorting through these photos, I found that my grasp of the character's expression was much more relaxed than before, no longer just posing for the sake of posing, but truly imagining the character's state of mind. I hope this cosplay work, which blends traditional Chinese style with a 2D aesthetic, can show everyone a different side of Saber, while recording the moments of dedicated preparation at this anime convention.
