A lot of thought was poured into the costumes, props, scene layout, and emotional expression to closely match the theme setting.

In terms of costumes, a classic blue and white striped hospital gown with a comfortable texture was selected. To fit the realism of being "hospitalized," white gauze bandages were specially wrapped around the legs, and medical tape was applied to the back of the hands and wrists to enhance the character's fragile, broken feel. The wig features the iconic pale blue-green color of Hatsune Miku cosplay, paired with matching colored contacts and light makeup, attempting to present an ethereal and slightly sickly expression.

The most recognizable prop in this look is the black square device on the head, featuring a red border and metallic-textured components. Under the cool-toned light source of the studio, it presents a special blend of mechanical and medical styles. Other props were also fully prepared, including a transparent oxygen mask, tubing to simulate an IV drip, and IV bags containing liquid. To enrich the visual layers of the frame, medical infusion bottles filled with red and blue-green liquids were specially prepared, along with emesis basins and cotton swabs placed on a medical cart. The positions of these tiny details were repeatedly adjusted before the shoot to ensure logical sense without looking cluttered.

The shooting process mainly focused on capturing a lonely, quiet, and helpless state. In terms of poses, whether curling up sideways on the white bedsheets or sitting cross-legged holding up a medicine bottle, great effort was made to fit that vulnerability. Continuous micro-adjustments were also required to make the path of the IV tubes across the bed look natural and not messy. For shot sizes during this hospital ward photoshoot, there are full-body wide shots to establish the entire hospital ward environment, including the blue divider curtains in the back, X-ray films on the wall, and the metal IV stand; there are also medium close-ups and close-ups to depict the details of the gaze and hand movements.

For the hair and makeup, the overall color saturation was deliberately toned down to make the facial complexion look paler and weaker. During the shoot, the photographer chose a slightly high-angle overhead shot or an eye-level perspective, combined with a wide aperture to blur the background, thereby concentrating the visual focus on the character and medical equipment. All lighting utilized cool-toned flash units, without enabling any warm light sources, ensuring the color temperature of the entire studio was controlled within a cold range, which laid a solid foundation for unifying the tone in post-processing.

This tone can both highlight the fairness of the person's skin and make those first-aid and IV infusion props more striking. Shooting this medical style cosplay theme not only demands a lot from the scene layout but also requires accurately projecting the character's conceptual setting into realistic imagery. The final photo outcome effectively delivers that effect of fragility and quietness, making the entire VOCALOID shooting process full of a narrative sense.
