[Marisa Kirisame cosplay] Black and Gold Lace Witch in the Magical Attic

This photoshoot transformed Marisa Kirisame from Touhou Project into a more elaborate Gothic Lolita style. The set design of the Magical attic, along with dense flower walls and vintage furniture, perfectly complemented the fairy-tale ambiance of this outfit.

For the outfit, a highly gothic black-and-white color-blocked dress was chosen, with very refined details. White lace at the collar and a black bow formed a sharp contrast, while the lace-up design on the chest added depth, and ruffle lace on the cuffs and hem made the overall look feel light yet complex. The lower half paired shorts with white frills, with gold trimming and black lace echoing the top's design. Black platform short boots supported the overall posture; the lace trim on the boots made the leg lines appear cleaner, and without the restriction of stockings, the vintage shorts look felt more breathable and structured.

The long, golden wavy wig was central to recreating the character. The bangs were slightly trimmed to follow the hair flow, presenting a bright golden sheen under top and side lighting. For makeup, cool-toned eyeshadow was chosen to emphasize deep eyes, while sharp eyeliner focused the gaze toward the lens. Paired with suitable contact lenses, the overall expression possessed both a magician's cool composure and a young girl's gentle warmth.

The most crucial prop during the photoshoot was the large decorative parasol. Pure black on the exterior and white on the interior, this inside-out contrast possessed strong visual tension under lighting. Black ruffled lace drooping along the parasol edge enriched visual layers at the top of the frame, while the curved dark handle and delicate metal structure provided excellent anchors for hand poses. Sitting on a white carved iron chair with legs naturally crossed and hands clasped over the handle, this posture gathered the character's presence into an introverted and refined composure.

The scene setup was remarkably rich, with a pink floral tablecloth and vintage tea tins on the table adding a touch of everyday warmth to the scene. Behind me, a vibrant 3D flower wall filled with pink, purple, and white bouquets, along with dark wooden flooring and European sculptures in the background, provided deep depth-of-field effects. The photographer utilized this rich, chaotic yet refined background with foreground-focus and background-blur depth control, ensuring I stood out fully as the main subject in this Cosplay photography session.

Because the costume featured multiple layers alongside a large parasol, care was taken to balance angles during filming to avoid looking overly heavy on one side. The final result preserves the core black-and-white contrast element of Marisa Kirisame cosplay while adding the gentle elegance of lace and ruffles. Cosplaying in a fantasy-infused scene like a Magical attic makes it easy to immerse oneself; paired with slightly lazy expressions and postures, it effectively softens the sharp edge the character usually carries, displaying a serene and composed side. This reinterpretation of the magician image serves as a personal stylistic reading of this Touhou Project character.
