This white-based Qipao adorned with gold thread embroidery was a true standout at the summer convention. Its unique Chinese-style tailoring, paired with generous openwork cutouts and floral embellishments, revealed exquisite texture under daylight. The long pink hair and oversized Pink animal ears gave the head contour an airy, spirited silhouette, though the sheer size of the ear props required extra caution to dodge collisions within crowded halls. To ensure the dimensional floral applique at the chest didn't lose its shape during movement, it was secured firmly with pins prior to shooting. The hand styling with red velvet gloves was a major visual highlight; contrasting the velvet texture against the dress's lace trims drew visual focus directly toward the curves of the arms and waist. The ambient light was rather harsh overhead that day, so the photographer scouted semi-shaded spots with diffused bounce, keeping the white fabric from blowing out while lending the pink hair a luminous transparency. The contact lens color was quite distinctive, working with the eye makeup to make my gaze appear sharp and spirited. Because the skirt features side slits, akimbo poses elongated the leg proportions beautifully; however, the lengthy hem meant staying vigilant so the fabric wasn't stepped on. Across the full day of shooting, while the headpiece felt somewhat heavy, the overall styling held its structural stability, and the makeup stayed remarkably intact despite perspiration without noticeable sliding. Many fellow attendees passing by warmly complimented the look, and everyone's kindness made all the effort poured into this outfit feel deeply worthwhile. Beyond standard front-facing shots, I explored three-quarter profile stances to better showcase the side-waist cutouts and red bow details. Wrapping up the session provided practical insights into syncing with the photographer to catch flattering angles and illumination. While convention outdoor grounds are bustling, adopting a slightly lower camera angle helped clear out the background crowds to achieve clean, crisp framing. Overall, this wardrobe and styling suited the brightly lit outdoor convention venue to perfection.
