This Prometheus outfit was actually only finalized the night before the convention, so this convention photo shoot felt like a real-world field test for me. Overall, the purple off-the-shoulder patchwork top is the core highlight of this look; the material is quite stiff, which helps hold up the silhouette of the lantern sleeves. The black-and-white skull pattern on the black neck warmer in front has a lot of details. The lace trim on the collar and hem, along with the black criss-cross ribbons on the sleeves, add a layer of Gothic sweet-and-cool vibe to this originally techwear-leaning design. The waist area actually hides a lot of small accessories: the black multi-hole studded belt features metal chains and buckles, and when layered with that thin light purple leather belt, it visually elongates the waistline. The three white bone decorations on the front of the skirt are the visual focus, and paired with the pink-and-blue color-blocked small bag and plaid bowknot hanging next to them, the overall sense of layering is fully realized. The light-colored stockings and black slouch socks on the thighs, paired with platform round-toe shoes, color-coordinate with the light shade of the top and the black of the lower body. Running around the convention in this outfit wasn't actually that tiring.

The location for this shoot was chosen in a semi-underground parking lot area of the exhibition hall, where the light was quite dim. The photographer utilized the ambient light source on site to cast a cool-toned side light. As you can see, tiny dust particles are floating in the air in the photos, and this low-contrast gray-blue filter perfectly magnifies the advantages of the skin's fairness and the silvery-white texture of the wig. I wore red contact lenses; in this cold gray-toned background, red creates a very strong visual tension, preventing the whole person from blending into the background. During the shoot, the main goal was to catch that slightly casual, indifferent vibe, but without being completely rigid. Therefore, we designed movements like resting the chin on one hand, lightly touching the lips with an index finger, and reaching a hand forward, using these subtle changes in body language to break the rigidity of stiff posing.

This scene originally had many distracting factors, like distant photography light stands and passersby, but the photographer used a wide-aperture, shallow depth-of-field shooting technique to turn the clutter in the background into bokeh, concentrating the visual focus tightly on me so that the overall image looks very clean. This time, there was no intentional effort to strike particularly exaggerated poses; instead, it relied more on the interaction between the gaze and finger movements to shape the character's temperament. I feel that this stable state captured in a relatively noisy environment actually fits the feel of this anthropomorphic character better than the rigid refinement produced by a studio shoot. These on-site captured details allow people to feel the natural state of the outfit under movement, and if I do this cosplay again in the future, I now know how to adjust small details like the stitching and straps to make it more comfortable.
