This pure white lace Western-style clothing was specially prepared for cosplaying Snowy Crystal. The high-collar design paired with the ring of pearl details along the neckline makes my overall demeanor look very elegant yet carrying a touch of coolness. The sleeves are classic bubble sleeves that extend to the forearms, spliced with wide, transparent organza flare sleeves; when walking, the fabric sleeves sway gently with the wind, looking very airy. I styled the long golden curls in advance to give them an airy feel, and the white rose hair accessories on both sides of the top of my head were fixed by hand using thin wire loops so they won't fall off easily when worn and won't look too bulky.

On the day of the shoot, we mainly wanted to create a feeling of being inside a milky-white dream, so we chose a clean, solid-colored studio backdrop. The photographer controlled the lights very softly, mostly relying on diffuse reflection. The light hitting the white veil and hair fully brought out that ethereal atmosphere. The piece of semi-translucent white veil in the picture was an impromptu prop; lifting it to cover my head or spreading it out completely like a cloud both yielded great results. Actually, I really like the perspective in Photo 2 looking at my facial features through the thin veil—the blurred silhouette unexpectedly fits Snowy Crystal's otherworldly and detached nature even better.

In this group photo set, there is also a two-person interaction image, and the chemistry with my partner was excellent. I gently covered her eyes with my hand, and she closed her eyes, naturally responding to my movement. When expressing character personalities, I feel that this kind of quiet behavior best embodies the bond between the characters. Although my expressions in the solo photos are mostly calm without major emotional fluctuations, I thoroughly enjoyed this immersive process in my heart.

To mention a little episode during the shoot, the textile fabrics of this outfit are layered and stacked, especially those long, thin red hair ribbons and the mesh cuffs, which easily got tangled together after walking a few steps in the studio. During shooting breaks, my assistant and I constantly had to smooth out the clothes. Although the golden wig looks great on camera, it feels a bit tight on the top of my head after filming for a long time. To maintain the volume of the hair strands, I also had to fluff it up with my hands from time to time. However, after seeing the final photos, I feel that all these hassles were completely worth it.

I specially picked out the full-body photo to use as the cover because you can completely see the layers of the skirt hem and the white boots on my feet. The combination of a white dress and white boots visually elongates the lines, giving a great on-camera effect. Just standing there in this cosplay, most of the built-in atmosphere is already present; the rest is just controlling my gaze. As Snowy Crystal, the eyes don't need to be too lively—just try to zone out, look straight ahead, and bring a touch of confusion and emptiness, which perfectly matches the character's tone.

Every photo release feels like a self-reinvention—approaching the character through costumes, makeup, and props, and then conveying her story through the lens. I'm very satisfied with the overall low-saturation color palette of this group photo shoot; there are no clashing vibrant colors, using only white, light gold, and a tiny bit of red and green as accents, presenting a texture that is clean and premium. Instead of relying on strong color contrasts, it uses soft textures to depict the uniqueness of the character, making it a very comfortable shooting experience. I hope this group photo log can share the clever designs of this costume/makeup setup and photography with everyone.
