Cosplaying Yixuan from Zenless Zone Zero and standing in this spacious exhibition hall in full costume gave me a much deeper understanding of her character. She naturally carries an independent and cool demeanor, and what I sought to capture through this set is precisely her decisive yet confident posture when confronting the unknown.

Let's talk about the details of this outfit first. The core of the styling is this short black leather jacket with a remarkably glossy texture. Under the cool white spotlights of the venue's ceiling, the reflective sheen is maximized, giving the jacket's silhouette and lines a very sharp, structured look. The chest and hem are accented with metal zippers and pendant accessories—these subtle details are what I feel truly enhance the character's sense of realism. To balance the weight of the black leather, a white protective collar design is spliced in underneath, paired with a white miniskirt that also features metallic accents. This black-and-white color-blocking combined with metal elements creates a rich visual hierarchy.

On the day of the shoot, I wore back-seamed stockings paired with black leather high heels. Honestly, balancing on one foot in high heels is definitely no easy feat; it demands full core engagement. However, I truly enjoy such challenging poses because they maximize the body's lines, while the texture of the stockings highlights an even cleaner silhouette against the reflections of the venue floor.

This was a classic large indoor exhibition hall where intersecting steel trusses overhead paired with regular industrial ceiling lights to create a strong modern vibe and depth. Instead of choosing a busy background, I utilized the venue's stark, spacious geometric lines to make the subject the visual focal point. The black-and-white stocking outfit popped distinctly against this monochrome grayscale space, with the contrast of light and shadow giving the character sharper definition.
