For this Wuthering Waves Iuno shoot, although it's a minor regret that the wig lacked a few accessories due to rushing against time, the overall atmosphere was still fully maximized. To fit this time's Chinese classical background, we specially built a scene featuring wooden carved window lattice and a giant artificial moon, with the floor covered in a thick white plush carpet, hoping to create a chilling yet slightly lazy home vibe.
In terms of clothing, this improved sleeveless white dress is made of a very light material, with the dark blue waistband and golden splicing lines echoing Iuno's hair color. To increase the layering, I specially matched that semi-transparent golden gauze draped ribbon, which, whether draping on the ground or wrapped around the arms, presents a great flowing effect in front of the lens. The thin necklace on the neck and the golden chain at the ankle are the finishing touches, and the black jagged tattoo sticker on the right foot's instep was also specially prepared to get closer to the character details.
During the shoot, because I wanted to showcase more body lines and foot details, I simply took off my shoes and went barefoot. The sitting posture in the first picture actually tests core strength quite a bit: leaning back slightly, supporting with one hand, and letting one leg hang down naturally, which makes the leg lines appear sleeker in the lens, while the gaze needs to carry a touch of nonchalant laziness. In the second picture, I held a round traditional folding fan, matching the cross-legged sitting posture; the visual center of gravity will concentrate on the upper body and face, and the floral pattern on the fan echoes the floral branches behind me. For the third picture, I tried a kneeling posture, holding a small dark wine bottle in hand, turning back with a slight side body, wanting to present a casual, slightly intoxicated state.
The lighting technician on site also helped a lot; that huge full moon in the background is not only a prop, but also a great soft light source, which, combined with the top light coming from the front, made the face and skin look exceptionally translucent. The wooden pipa next to it and the thread-bound books on the bookshelf are also great composition elements; without deliberately arranging them, just leaning against there makes the frame full. Despite minor flaws, seeing the light, shadow, and colors of the final photos made all the prior hassle totally worth it, and I hope everyone enjoys this rendition with a bit of my personal understanding.
