Recently, I've been running around the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai areas for outdoor shoots, with Wuxi being my regular base. I usually shoot Vocaloid, HoYoverse games (Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Genshin Impact), Arknights, and EVA works, and occasionally accept projects for Wuthering Waves, Azur Lane, and NIKKE. This time, I’ve compiled some of my recent pieces, ranging from traditional style with lotus lanterns at night to daytime anime-style uniforms and cherry blossom season.

I personally love adjusting the shooting approach based on the actual lighting. For instance, for night scenes, I use warm continuous lights combined with flashes to create an atmospheric vibe, while for Japanese school style, I try to suppress highlights to preserve a sense of airy atmosphere. With different character settings, the movements and composition will be entirely different. I am accustomed to using a Sony a7R III paired with 20-50mm and 28-80mm zoom lenses, which makes switching scenes outdoors very convenient for Outdoor cosplay.

During the shoot, I actively guide poses and expressions, trying my best to ensure the state in front of the lens is natural and not stiff. The turnaround time for photos is normally one to three days. I hope collaborating models have basic expressive abilities and preferably some shooting experience. We will communicate about the project in advance and study characters and scenes together rather than following a formulaic assembly line.

Recently, I also plan to shoot some thematic photo sets. If you are in Wuxi or the surrounding areas and love cosplay with a true passion for characters, feel free to reach out for a Wuxi photoshoot booking. I believe great works require effort invested by both parties—discussing costuming, makeup, props, and movement design beforehand, and maintaining trust and cooperation during the shoot to make production more efficient. Being punctual and trustworthy is also fundamental; if anything comes up, just let me know in advance. For me, Anime-style photography is about recording the harmony between characters and scenes; every photoshoot should have its own unique tone and color.
